HOW DID STELLAR CONTRACTING START?
Jeff Boudreau began Stellar Contracting in 2019. Jeff was countlessly working in the construction and renovation field and always seemed to be a leader and praised for his detail and work ethic. He realized he had so much potential and wanted to give his dream of owning a business a go. It was a scary leap but in his heart he knew he had what it took to become a recognized company. Jeff has a passion for turning houses into homes and making his clients visions come to life.
WHERE DID THE NAME STELLAR COME FROM?
The name Stellar came from a compliment Jeff had received from an employee he had been working with. While looking and brainstorming about a name, his colleague suggested Stellar. “I think you should name your business Stellar, because you always do Stellar work”. That moment it just clicked and sounded perfect. I have so much pride in my work and I was so happy that others could also see this.
A Little Bit About The Founder, Jeff
As I grew up I was always fascinated in finding out the way things work, taking them apart and then putting them back together/ fixing them. I began my adulthood working in the construction field. I started off in concrete and then felt as if I wanted to learn more.
I found that in my spare time I was meeting new people in the construction industry, asking questions and actually going out and learning new stuff. I became fascinated in the renovation field when I saw peoples dreams come true in their projects. I connected myself with some very important people who saw my potential and believed in me. I was noticing that for all the jobs I had worked at, I was basically the one in charge of making the decisions and running the project.
My bosses always had trust in me to make the decisions when they weren’t around. This is when I decided that I have so much responsibility, I do great work and it was time for me to take leadership and pride in my own work 100%.. so why not start my own business? I want people to know my company. I want people to associate my work with being Stellar. I want to be known in the community for the type of work I do and the happy clients I have.
